Teachers in Y3-6 are continuing to post work weekly for the children to access. This covers maths, English and foundation subject activities. It is important for all children who can access these tasks complete them regularly and use it as an opportunity to communicate with their teachers and peers through the chat function. Children have been shown how to message us and their peers. Teachers will check the messages daily and provide feedback to individual children.
This provides a wide range of activities to support the learning of all children from Nursery to Year 6. These activities can be accessed by laptop or tablet. Class teachers have set up activities for the children to complete that will further support their home learning. These activities will be updated regularly.
Children can log onto Education City using their LGFL username and password.
BBC Bitesize Daily
The BBC is producing an education package across TV and online, featuring celebrities and teachers, which will help children with their learning at home and support parents. This is going to be an amazing resource as experts including David Attenborough are taking part in delivering the lessons.
The Oak National Academy provides an online classroom and resource hub. The Academy offers 180 video lessons each week for schools to use, across a broad range of subjects. The lessons cover children in Reception through to Year 6 and are free to use by both teachers and young people.
